British Airways is allowing you to ‘bring the magic of flying with BA into your own home’, with the sale of some of its premium onboard items including crockery, tableware, and trolleys – oh my.

If you can’t get enough of the flying experience, and could also do with some pre-loved kitchen items and cold hot towels, it’s your lucky day.

British Airways is jumping onboard the Qantas Trolley bandwagon and selling some of its most treasured and well travelled on-board items.

The sale, purely inspired by magical air travel feels and sharing the premium cabin experience, comes amid losses of over $9billion for BA’s owner, IAG.

What’s for sale?

Ooh, an insulated box for $135? Don’t mind if I do.

BA customers and aviation memorabilia collectors can recreate an authentic BA first-class experience for their next date night by bagging bespoke inflight items, such as William Edwards plates (from $45), soup bowls – that can double up for cute bowler hats ($55), cups and saucers (from $9 individually).

Other available items include a set of four first-class breadbaskets ($75), 5 hot towel plates ($35), a 4 shelf oven wrack that looks like it survived the last apocalypse ($90), and a set of 3 first-class coaster rolls, that can double up as toilet paper if things get desperate again ($9).

Coasters or loo roll. You decide.

For special occasions, why not treat yo’self to a selection of Champagne flutes (£11) or the ‘full meal equipment box’ (£135),

For something a little more unique, purchase the top-loading waste disposal trolley (£275) for a quirky style dustbin or hey, fill it with ice and your favourite bevvies.

The items are from British Airway’s recently retired Boeing 747 fleet and if you’d like to own a little piece of aviation history, they’re available at what a buy.

All jokes aside, it is great that these items will be heading off to loving homes and being reused and repurposed, rather than heading to landfill.

Good on you, BA. Keep the spirit alive.
