MILESTONE: The Travel Corporation Celebrates 100 Years

The Travel Corporation is celebrating its first 100th Year Anniversary by sharing memorable moments throughout 2020 with its family, team members, guests, and partners across the globe.

The Travel Corporation is celebrating its first 100th Year Anniversary by sharing memorable moments throughout 2020 with its family, team members, guests, and partners across the globe.

Beginning in August 1920, its roots can be traced back to a small South African fishing village, Paternoster, where TTC Chairman and guiding visionary, Stanley Tollman’s father – Solomon Tollman – owned a charming small hotel which still exists today.

This significant place is where their exceptional family business was born along with their ethos, “driven by service.”

Each month this year, TTC will highlight its momentous milestone with inspiring personal stories and shareable video content.

Team members will also participate in giving back opportunities through TTC’s CSR initiatives and TreadRight’s sustainable travel projects by making travel matter.

“For the past century, we are grateful for the strong sense of trust we have developed with our loyal travel advisors, travelers and guests, by being driven by service and delivering truly immersive experiences and extraordinary holidays,” said Brett Tollman, Chief Executive of The Travel Corporation.

“We are continuing to innovate into the next century with our digital transformation and creating personalised, life-changing journeys for our valued guests.”

To inspire guests’ wanderlust and celebrate a new year and new decade, each Travel Corporation team member has shared their personal 2020 #TTCTop10 travel buckets lists highlighting their top destinations and TTC journeys.

Brett Tollman’s notable list features emerging destinations including Colombia and conscious travel to the Ecuadorian Amazon to participate in a sustainable development project with TreadRight’s partner, ME to WE.
