Sabre Pacific is taking travel agents into the future and simplifying their workload, with the launch of three new mobile and cost saving solutions.

Unveiled to travel agents and media at the Tech Summit in Sydney today, the three new advancements include Sabre Vero – a virtual desktop; Ticketing Express – automated manual ticketing; and Travel Intelligence – solution making agency data more accessible.

According to the GDS provider, each system is to not only designed to help reduce the agent workload, but bring them into the future by making their business more mobile and cost effective.

This is what you need to know about Sabre’s new services:

Go mobile with Sabre Vero

working mobile

Dubbed a ‘virtual desktop’, Sabre Vero allows agents to access their agency applications from multiple devices such as Mac, PC, desktop, laptop, zero client, iPad, tablet or smart devices.

But the most convenient aspect of the service is that agents can access their desktop on-the-go.

Essentially, allowing agents to ‘take their world with them everywhere they go’.

Agents can pick and choose which applications to include in their virtual desktop based on individual requirements. This includes apps like Sabre Red, Sabre Pacific, One drive and more.

Sabre’s MD says the device is perfect for remote or mobile consultants. It also gives managers the opportunity to bring their agencies into the future by providing ‘hot-desking’, which gives members the freedom to choose where they sit everyday.

“Cloud computing is not only a cheaper option for travel agencies but it also delivers efficiency, flexibility and increases consultant productivity.”

Jeremy van de Klundert, Sabre Pacific Managing Director

Save time & money with Ticketing Express

working in the office

How much time do you spend on manual ticketing tasks?

According to Sabre, it’s about 14 percent of your time – convert that to time, and that’s one and seven minutes of your day spent manually fulfilling bookings.

Well, Ticketing Express gives agents back that one and seven minutes by automating the process.

In addition to saving time, the new service also reduces the risk of error and frees consultants up to concentrate on sales.

I can practically hear the sighs of relief.

Sabre Pacific has also partnered with Travel Automation to launch a series of automated services which address the manual work associated with processing Queues.

The Travel Automation tools, made available via the Sabre Red App Centre, include QBotic, QBotic PRO and KLeer.

QBotic is designed to automate the process of managing schedule changes, by monitoring schedule change queues, updating PNR’s and notifying customers or consultants of the change.

KLeer automates the process involved with managing waitlists by continuously checking availability for specified flights and notifying consultants when a desired seat becomes available.

Plus there’s an interactive dashboard reporting on mobile devices, it brings analytics to life for agents in Australia!

Agencies can chose from the wide range of reports, and opt to receive them via email on a regular basis.

Alternatively they can access the intuitive web application to create their own reports or Sabre’s Business Intelligence Analysts can write customised reports on behalf of agencies or their customers.

Travel Intelligence provides agencies with insights such as business or travel spend; agent productivity; supplier information; data to manage risks and consumer trends. Visibility into this data assists agents to identify opportunities and make effective business decisions.
