TripAdvisor continues to expand its instant booking platform, with the addition of a new hotel group.

The Langham Hospitality Group this week partnered with the online giant to add its hotel inventory to the TripAdvisor instant booking platform.

This will allow users reading Langham reviews the ability to secure a room in one of the group’s properties without leaving the TripAdvisor site.

Langham Hospitality Group’s Global Director of E-Commerce, Nick Cohen, said the agreement gives its customers the opportunity to ‘make a seamless reservation on TripAdvisor, powered by our own direct inventory’.

“Our partnership with TripAdvisor is focused on providing guests with the ideal set of options as they research and book their trip.”

TripAdvisor’s booking platform first launched in the US in 2014. Over the last year it was expanded into Australia and New Zealand and thus far only offers hotel booking opportunities.

“Our partnership with Langham Hospitality Group is another milestone in our expansion of the breadth of trusted hotel brands bookable through TripAdvisor instant booking.”

Robin Ingle, TripAdvisor Senior Vice President, Global Sales

Earlier this year, TripAdvisor expanded its website by allowing its millions of users to review airports from around the world.

Kicking off with Changi Airport, TripAdvisor is aiming to feature content for some 200 major airports around the world.

To access the dedicated pages, users search for an airport and click through to the page. There they will have access to user reviews and other information such as nearby hotels, restaurants and attractions.
