Independent Travel Group’s retail franchise italktravel continues to expand around Australia with the rebranding of two new stores.

 

This month, Harvey World Travel on Bribie Island became italktravel Bribie Island, Queensland; and a former Southern Cross Travel store transformed into italktravel Bendigo.

Regarding the rebrand to italktravel Bribie Island, owner John Layton said that for him, “the reason for the change to italktravel is simple, it ticked all the boxes”.

David Dawson, owner of the Bendigo store, has been in the travel industry for over 20 years is “very excited with his store’s new look and for the future as part of an innovative brand”.

“The italktravel franchise model will help me grow my business with low costs and high returns,” he said.

The italktravel franchisees’ ability to manage their own marketing across all mediums within their local community and within their fields of expertise in an exclusive territory, is of significant benefit to the agent and to their customers.

CEO, Tom Manwaring has advised that “italktravel are at present opening an average of 2 new stores per month and are on track to achieving 100 stores by the end of 2016.”
