Unveiled today, the new program is made up of ‘one-off trips’ around small or major events that are truly unique to a destination.

For example, travellers can attend a Halloween party at Bran Castle in Romania during the seven-day ‘Halloween in Transylvania’ trip, or they can jam at a Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica during a four-day ‘Jamaica Reggae Sumfest Experience’ (uh, dancehall nights and reggae parties – sign me up).

According to G Adventures Australia and New Zealand Managing Director, Adrian Piotto, the new Limited Edition collection is created for travellers looking to try new places, participate in local events and traditions.

“With this new selection of trips we have taken our knowledge of what works in event-based tourism, and expanded that to include all new, next-level trips.”

“Our Limited Edition trips will appeal to a variety of interests with unusual and wonderful one-off experiences for music fans, active travellers, wildlife lovers, foodies and culture vultures.”

There are 32 trips in the Limited Edition collection offering experiences in 20 countries. Other highlights include an eight-day adventure ‘Serengeti Half Marathon Experience’ jogging the Ngorongoro Crater – this one’s obviously for the running enthusiasts.

Or there’s the five-day ‘Pizzafest’ packed with pizza-making demonstrations, authentic Neapolitan music, and of course try some of the most delicious pizza in Italy; and there’s the ‘Cambodian Water Festival & Longboat Race’, during which travellers work with a team from a local Buddhist temple to prepare the team’s dragon boat and train to compete in the main event celebrating the reversal of the Tonle Sap river.

Would any of your clients been keen on these Limited Edition trips?
