Luxury Escapes now has an IRL home in Sydney, marking its second Australian retail storefront and the first in New South Wales. The new, multi-million-dollar concept store is now open at Westfield Bondi Junction.
Similar to the Melbourne concept store debut in July 2023 at Chadstone Shopping Centre, the new Luxury Escape retail boutique brings the online experience to a “luxury holiday shopping haven” that includes an onsite bar and a palm tree oasis.
Luxury Escapes Bondi Junction has been designed to feel like a premium airport lounge, featuring exclusive in-store experiences inspired by destinations included in holiday packages and staffed by 15 full-time team members.
Luxury Escapes Co-Founder & CEO Adam Schwab said the success of the Melbourne concept store inspired the brand to expand its retail footprint to Sydney and potentially other states.
“The Chadstone store has been a phenomenal success within two years, becoming one of the world’s highest-grossing travel stores by creating an inspiring experience before customers even take off on their holiday,” he said.
“A recent Luxury Escapes survey found that while 80 per cent of travellers book online, 15 per cent prefer to book in person and five per cent over the phone.
“Our goal is to offer the best of both worlds: the ease and convenience of digital and the magic of real-person expertise and experience.”
