RedBalloon Founder and entrepreneur on TEN’s Shark Tank, Naomi Simson, is leaving the Sharks in the Tank for an unforgettable getaway with Lisa Pagotto from Crooked Compass.

AND YOU’RE INVITED!

The two successful business women, who met when Lisa pitched her unique tour brand to Simson on TEN’s Shark Tank, are heading off on a small group tour to Mongolia to visit the Reindeer Tribes.

The Tsaachin tribe or Reindeer People are a diminishing group with an estimated number of only 200-400 people left spread across 100sqkm of northern Mongolia. This small tribe is truly nomadic, regularly moving in search of a rare type of lichen and grass.

Their entire existence is based on their reindeer herds which provide them with milk for producing cheese, antlers for carving and medicinal purposes, transportation and on the odd occasion, meat. The reindeer are said to have been domesticated several thousands of years ago and are central to the spiritual, socio economic and linguistic traditional of the local community.

The tour Naomi is heading out on plays an important role in helping the Tsaachin culture survive, providing supplemental income and cultural exchange. Spending time with these tribes people is a truly remarkable experience, brimming with cultural practices that provide deep insight into this fascinating way of life.

Naomi’s trip will depart in June 2018 and will run for 10 days.
