Little imaginations are about to run wild with playful Pixar stories and characters soon to be brought to life at Disneyland’s new Pixar Park.
Disneyland Resort has just revealed that the new Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Park will be opening to the public on June 23.
That’s not long to wait now!
Pixar Pier will have four new whimsical neighbourhoods to explore, themed attractions, entertainment, encounters with Pixar pals, plus themed food and merchandise.
So if you’re after a sneak peek, we will let you in on what to expect at the new park.
Entry to Pixar Pier will be through a new marquee, which will be topped by the iconic Pixar lamp.
The Incredicoaster will feature in the new land’s first neighbourhood, inspired by The Incredibles.
Character figures, lighting and special effects will work together as the Parr family races alongside you in an attempt to catch baby Jack-Jack – including a 40 foot Mrs Incredible!
In perfect timing, the attraction’s story will also have features that connect moments from the soon to be released Incredibles 2 which comes to cinemas in June.
The second neighbourhood will be dedicated to Toy Story, the third based on Inside Out and fourth will celebrate a collection of Pixar stories.
Also debuting in June, will be a new float to add some more superhero fun to the Paint the Night parade, featuring characters from The Incredibles.
This year will also mark the first ever Pixar Fest, a limited-time event which launches in April.
