REVEALED: This year's National Travel Industry Awards nominees are...

The official list of nominees for this year's National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) was released this morning by the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA), with many industry friends making up the nominees across 38 award categories.

The official list of nominees for this year’s National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) was released this morning by the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA), with many industry friends making up the nominees across 38 award categories.

More than 1,000 nominees poured in this year before the entries were sorted through to compile the final nominees for each category.

AFTA applauded those who made today’s list.

AFTA congratulates all those nominated and wishes everyone the best of luck through the voting and judging processes.

Popular nominee categories this year included Best Travel Agency Retail – Single Location, Best Travel Consultant – Retail and Best Sales Executive – Industry Supplier.

Voting opens tomorrow, Tuesday 13 March at 9:00 am.

Finalists will be announced on Thursday 3 May before tickets for the Gala dinner go on sale the next day.

To help out those up for an award, AFTA has compiled a list of the top 5 tips for those making a finalists presentation to the AFTA Judging Panel.

These tips are based on feedback from previous year’s judging and will assist you in preparing for your presentation and best utilising the time allowed.

Final judging starts on Monday 28 May 2018 ahead of the travel industry night of nights on Saturday 21 July 2018.
