1. Scenic grows in ‘hugely popular’ North America

Scenic has expanded its 2016 Canada, Alaska & USA program after continued sales success in the North America region.

Unveiled today, the new brochure features seven new itineraries, two new extensions and a number of new Enrich events and Freechoice activities.

According to the recently re-branded company’s GM Product Development Aleisha Fittler, additional content comes as the destination proves to be ‘hugely popular’ amongst Scenic clients.

2. Trafalgar merges the Americas

Trafalgar has merged its Americas products into one single brochure, making it easier for travel agents to book cross regional products and make more commission.

Released this week, the new programme is titled ‘2016 The Americas’ and covers the USA, Canada, Central and South America.

The brochure is packed with 60 itineraries, more than 160 Insider Experiences and seven completely new guided holidays.

3. 55% more sightseeing with Tempo

Tempo Holidays has just released its exotic new 2016 India/Sri Lanka/Maldives brochure crammed with 55 percent more sightseeing experiences.

From Segway tours to a Dharavi Slum tour, village tours, home cooking experiences and Ayurvedic treatments – Tempo Holidays can tailor make your clients personal package.

Tempo also has 35 percent more hotels to offer throughout the major areas and more diverse small group and private tours. Also included is the MasterChef Travel India tour with Rishi Desai where your clients can indulge their taste for food and passion for discovery.

Catering to those with a passion for food and a taste for discovery, there’s the MasterChef Travel tour of India with Rishi Desai.

This Spice Odyssey begins in Delhi on 10 October and takes a walk through cities lively spice and dry fruit markets.

Guests will ride a rickshaw around Old Delhi and enjoy cooking demonstrations and learn the secrets to Indian food.

There will also be visits to Mumbai’s top sites and an intriguing tour of the spice markets.

Tempo is offering the aptly titled Sri Lankan Highlights, a 10-day tour where guests can explore the gems of Sri Lanka, from its pristine beaches, ancient temples and natural wonders to its exotic marketplaces and villages.

 

4. More Luxury Gold with Insight in the Americas

Insight Vacations has unveiled its 2016/17 USA, Canada and South America brochure comprising 10 Luxury Gold itineraries with top of the range luxury hotels and experiences, and showcasing Peru for the very first time, plus 15 Insight Premium escorted journeys including two brand new itineraries.

Signature Experiences will remain a hallmark of Insight Vacations’ Luxury Gold itineraries offering guests the opportunity to enjoy exclusive authentic activities that take in the essence of each location, such as a private cooking class at the New Orleans School of Cooking or exploring Butchart Gardens in Canada with a horticulturist.

Guests will also be treated to carefully crafted Signature Dining experiences, enjoying historic eateries, the finest award-winning restaurants, and exceptional culinary events throughout their journey.

In 2016/17, the Luxury Gold itineraries are now all-inclusive with no options sold, and private airport transfers include a personalised meet and greet service.

Additionally, a number of the itineraries now feature room upgrades such as the Luxurious Hawaiian Escape itinerary which boasts upgraded Ocean View Rooms.

Taking in Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco, Puno and Lake Titicaca at a leisurely pace, guests will explore the mysterious history of the Inca Empire and will also delve into present culture as they meet local artisans, barter at markets, learn local crafts and take part in powerful rituals.

 

5. Extended tours with Rocky Mountaineer

Rocky Mountaineer has launched its new 2016 brochure, which will be available in travel agencies around the world in the coming weeks.

Jam-packed with stunning imagery and captions that capture the magic of rail travel, each page brings the majestic Rocky Mountaineer experience to life.

The brochure is the first to include the extended Rainforest to Gold Rush route, a three day rail journey beginning or ending in North Vancouver rather than Whistler.

Travelling through Howe Sound, Squamish and Cheakamus Canyon to connect the world-class destinations of Vancouver and Whistler, the extended route will provide guests with an exclusive look at some of the most spectacular views in British Columbia.

The theme of the new brochure is ‘Prepare to be Truly Moved’, which reflects the amazing journey that awaits guests from all over the world.

The new brochure highlights four simple steps on how to ‘get moving’ and build a unique rail journey with Rocky Mountaineer, providing travellers with an array of options to fully customize their North American holiday to suit their needs.

Some fun elements include ‘Snap Facts’ on many of the beautiful images, giving readers a slice of Rocky Mountaineer history or trivia.
