That’s, according to Virtuoso’s 25 top-selling agencies, which all share five qualities that have contributed to their growing profitability.

In researching the group’s highest achievers, Virtuoso found experience was a key part of their success whether it was through experienced employees or long-term membership to Virtuoso.

Some 88 percent of agencies have worked with the network for more than a decade, while there’s an average of 40 years industry experience among their staff.

But with any business, there’s ongoing training to ensure everyone is up to date with the latest offerings as well as regular attendance to conferences and events such as Virtuoso Travel Week and Virtuoso Travel Week On-Tour.

Marketing also plays a big part of their success, with 48 percent more of their clients opting-in for Virtuoso marketing, 55 percent more receiving email travel offers and 75 percent more receiving the network’s award-winning magazine, Virtuoso Life.
