Scenic is debuting a new Japan journey as part of its newly released 2023/24 collection of luxury land journeys for Japan and South Korea that delves deeper into the tradition, culture, history and sights of this intriguing region.
Savvy travellers can also snap up earlybird savings of up to AUD$1,400pp for new bookings made on Scenic Japan and South Korea 2023/24 journeys before 31 May 2023.
The new 15-day Scenic Japan Unveiled itinerary will transport guests from Fukuoka on the southern island of Kyushu to Honshu Island and Tokyo via Kyoto.
New luxury journeys destinations include Ichinommiya, Ainokura, Takaoka and Shogawa Gorge.
The 2023/24 collection will also feature more exclusive Scenic Enrich, including private sumo demonstrations, geisha- and maiko-hosted dinners and traditional tea-drinking ceremonies.
Airlines and tour companies have experienced a significant rise in bookings and online searches for the region, particularly for Japan after the country reopened fully to tourism last October.
