The new Upgraded collection of 18 tours across four continents offers all the benefits of Explore Worldwide’s small-group trips with upgraded stays in carefully curated premium accommodation that enhance the immersive and experiential travel style.

Upgraded small-group tours will debut in 2025 and visit destinations such as Morocco, Peru, Turkey, Jordan, Vietnam and Botswana.

Options include Upgraded – Discover Morocco from AUD$3,660 per person for nine days, staying in hotels and riads; the 15-day Upgraded – Discover Peru small-group trip from $7,130 per person; the 13-day Upgraded – Discover Sri Lanka tour from $5,810 per person, including Bawa-style beachfront properties; and Upgraded – Costa Rica Wildlife 14-day itinerary from $8,160 per person, which includes a stay within Tortuguero National Park.

Tours featured in the B Corp-certified company’s new Upgraded collection will typically use 4-star properties, offering a little extra comfort regarding accommodation and facilities.

Where possible, travellers stay in locally owned-and-run hotels in convenient locations for an authentic experience that contributes to the local economy and ensures the group is at the heart of the action.

In addition to premium accommodation, Upgraded tours feature a special group welcome meal and at least one standout experience or activity to heighten the overall destination experience.

Explore Worldwide Managing Director Michael Edwards said the company created the Upgraded collection of premium accommodation tours to “retain the authenticity of standard trips with a little more comfort to come back to at the end of a day’s adventures”.

“We’re excited to be launching our new Upgraded collection, which we’ve been working on for some time and we’re super proud of,” he said.

“The trips are still very immersive and experiential and we’ve worked hard to bring them in at a very competitive price point. They’re ideal for the traveller who wants extra comfort or something special.”
