With a history of advocacy and responsible tourism practices, G Adventures is supporting The Voice to Parliament, urging Aussies to educate themselves on the different perspectives surrounding the referendum and use their voice to vote on 14 October 2023.

Confirming its support for The Voice to Parliament in a public statement, G Adventures Oceania Managing Director Sean Martin said the company wants to inspire individuals to make their voices heard.

“We believe that a nation’s strength lies in its ability to listen, learn and grow together. By casting our vote in favour of the Voice to Parliament on 14 October 2023, we express our belief that acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of this land and empowering their voices will contribute to a more inclusive Australia,” he said.

Mr Martin added that G Adventures has more than 30 years’ experience as a global tourism provider that offers 100-plus indigenous experiences around the world, including Australia.

“We’ve witnessed firsthand the detrimental consequences that come from silencing First Nations voices on matters that affect them, their communities and their heritage,” he said.

“We believe they have a right to have input and a voice on federal government, decisions and policies that affect their lives. And we know this will lead to better outcomes across social and wellbeing matters for First Nations people.”
