The Travel Corporation’s touring brands are doubling down on booking certainty, announcing a new “No Fuel Surcharge” policy alongside an extension of complimentary Gold Seal Protection for 2026 travel. The move applies across Trafalgar, Costsaver, Contiki and Insight Vacations, with the company positioning the initiative as a way to give travellers greater financial reassurance amid ongoing global uncertainty.
Under the policy, eligible guests booking 2026 itineraries will not face additional fuel surcharges, even if fuel prices fluctuate.
Complimentary Gold Seal Protection has also been extended for new 2026 bookings made by 31 August 2026, offering added flexibility if travel plans change.
The Travel Corporation said travellers were increasingly seeking confidence, support and transparency when booking future holidays.

“At a time when clients and agents are looking for absolute certainty and expert backing, we want our trade partners to know we have their backs,” TTC Tour Brands Oceania Senior VP of Sales Andrew Young said.
“Whether it’s our upfront no-fuel-surcharge reassurance, free Gold Seal Protection, or our around-the-clock support teams, we are entirely focused on making travel planning as seamless, stable, and stress-free as possible.”

Alongside the announcement, the company has also launched its 2027 Early Booking Advantage campaign, allowing guests to secure preferred departures and pricing ahead of forecast demand.
The customer assurance package also includes 24/7 global operational support and access to more than 750 tours worldwide across the four brands.
TTC’s move comes after Intrepid Travel confirmed it would not introduce extra fees on existing or new bookings this year, in a move it said focused on pricing transparency and traveller confidence.
KARRYON UNPACKS: Price certainty has quietly become one of travel’s biggest selling points. With fuel costs and global instability still unpredictable, locking in “no surprises” could resonate strongly with cautious Australian travellers.
