Get ready for a brand new style of holiday with Wendy Wu Tours. The major tour operator has unveiled its first-ever combined tour and cruise itineraries, with the launch of its fully inclusive ‘Cruise & Tour’ range of holidays.

Wendy Wu’s new offering will launch with nine itineraries, with eight journeys in Asia – its biggest region of expertise – and one in Southern Africa.

The new holidays include return flights from Australia and connecting transfers. Cruise components comprise accommodation in staterooms, food and beverage, and entertainment, while land touring includes 4-star hotels, all meals, guided touring, entry fees and visas for Aussie passport holders.

For the new offering, Wendy Wu Tours has partnered with ocean cruise giants Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara, marking the first such collaboration for the company.

“Our team is delivering the most significant product expansion in our company history, and I could not be prouder of what they have produced for our customers, in partnership with Azamara, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises,” Wendy Wu Tours Australia, Managing Director, Simon Bell said.

So why now? According to the tour operator, the strategic move is due to rising demand for comprehensive experiences that combine cultural immersion – achieved through its tours – and relaxation, which it believes its cruises will offer.

The convenience of cruising will also complement the more adventurous side of its tours, the operator says.

“Combining our fully inclusive tour style with cruising is a match made in heaven where our customers get the best of both worlds,” Bell said.

“They’ll be exploring deeper into the destination with our expert guides, and combining that with the fun, relaxing cruise experience our cruise partners are well-known for.”

To mark the launch, Wendy Wu is offering savings of up to $1,200 per couple for trips booked by 15 August 2024.

“Our dedicated trade sales team will be out equipping agents with all they need to support this new product range, and as always, we’re available to chat about ways we can work together to co-promote,” Bell said.
