VOTE NOW! ATIA reveals all of the NTIA 2023 nominees

The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has revealed the nominees for the 2023 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA). 

The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) has revealed the nominees for the 2023 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA). 

As the unprecedented build-up to NTIA 2023 continues, ATIA says the nominees reflect the “outstanding contributions made by our members of the travel industry”.

Voting commenced at 9am (AEST) on 28 August and concludes at 11:59pm (AEST) on 15 September.

NTIA 2023 will take place on 18 November in Melbourne.

Eleven of the 36 award categories are designated for voting, including: 

  • Category 21: Most Outstanding Tour Operator – Specialised
  • Category 22: Most Outstanding Tour Operator – Global
  • Category 23: Most Outstanding Wholesaler – Product / Service
  • Category 24: Most Outstanding Wholesaler – Destination / Experience
  • Category 25: Most Popular Tourism Office
  • Category 26: Most Popular Accommodation Group / Chain
  • Category 27: Most Popular Airline – Online
  • Category 28: Most Popular Airline – Offline
  • Category 29: Most Popular Ocean Cruise Operator
  • Category 30: Most Popular River Cruise Operator
  • Category 31: Most Popular Car Rental Operator

Voting is open to the entire travel industry, and there is a limit of one vote per category.

“ATIA would like to congratulate all the nominees for this year’s NTIAs and all the hard work they do in promoting the excellence of Australian travel,” ATIA CEO Dean Long said.

“Make sure to submit your votes before 15 September to ensure you support the brilliant businesses that make our industry.” 

Tickets selling fast

ATIA says it has experienced record demand for tickets to this year’s event, with only 250 seats remaining.

“We’re seeing the ticket and table sales selling fast for NTIA 2023,” Long remarked. 

“To guarantee your attendance, we encourage you to secure your spot as soon as possible.” 

Tickets for NTIA 2023 went on sale on 10 August. They are available here.

Nominees can reserve their places at the event up until finalists are announced in mid-September.

Last month, ATIA announced Singapore Airlines as the major sponsor of the event for at least the next two years.

In early August, Viking was confirmed as the sponsor of the Afterparty post-celebration.
