As of September 12, International visitors to Vanuatu by air and sea will no longer need to produce a negative COVID-19 test before entering the country.

Making it even easier for Australians to visit the South Pacific island paradise, this change in requirements applies to all arrivals to Vanuatu.

While full COVID-19 vaccination is still encouraged before travelling to the country, this is no longer mandatory either, and once travellers are in Vanuatu, there is no quarantine or arrival testing required.

Any traveller who tests positive for COVID-19 or who develops symptoms of COVID-19 while on their trip to Vanuatu will need to isolate for 48 hours.

Vanuatu reopened its borders to international travellers on 1 July, allowing visitors to travel freely throughout the archipelago and enjoy all the amazing things to do and see in the South Pacific paradise.

Virgin Australia will also resume Brisbane to Port Vila flights up to five times a week from 10 March 2023.
