First-ever Travel With Purpose Ambassador revealed: Who’s going to British Columbia, Canada?

Remember the recent Adventure World search to find an inaugural Travel With Purpose Ambassador? We can now share the winning Aussie advisor who will represent what it means to travel with purpose on a life-changing trip to British Columbia, Canada with partners Destination British Columbia and Air Canada.

This was no ordinary competition with rewards far greater than the sum of its parts.

The Travel With Purpose Ambassador is a trailblazing role for an advisor who will inform and educate the travel trade about the sustainable nature of booking travel by promoting the responsible tourism initiatives and ethos of Adventure World and Destination British Columbia.

The Travel With Purpose Ambassador will embark on a transformative trip to the 2025 IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism Summit in Victoria, British Columbia, attending the four-day conference from 26-29 January.

Valued at $20,000, the nine-day trip includes Air Canada Signature Class return flights from Sydney to Vancouver, eight nights’ accommodation, attendance at the 2025 IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism Summit, air and land transfers and most meals.

The trip also includes the Day of Impact on 26 January – a full-day program for conference delegates with hands-on inspirational experiences.

They’ll also experience some of British Columbia’s regenerative tourism and cultural activities during stays in Victoria, Whistler, Squamish and Vancouver.

In addition, before they go, the Travel With Purpose Ambassador will have an exclusive, one-on-one Karryon Social Media Masterclass to level up their visual storytelling skills and capture, create and share all the amazing British Columbia content from the trip.

And the Travel With Purpose Ambassador is…

James Cracknell from Windsong Travel is the inaugural Travel With Purpose Ambassador who will share the ethos of responsible travel and represent what it means to travel with purpose at the 2025 IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism Summit and experience British Columbia’s sustainable tourism efforts firsthand.
