We love choices. The choice to say yes to cool adventures around Europe. The option to take all our annual leave in one go for said cool European adventures. The choice to snag a discount of $350 per person on Albatross Tours’ 2025 Summer tours! And Albatross Tours has let us know they’ve got three amazing new tours for 2025, ensuring Antipodean travellers have more choices than ever before!
Albatross Tours, the Australian based company specialised to cater for Australian and New Zealand travellers, is the kind of company you expect to keep innovating. With over 30 years of leading tours across Europe and the UK, they know a thing or two about finding inspiring new destinations or innovating on how to showcase Australia’s favourite European countries in new lights.
Alongside leading over a whopping 5,000 escorted tours last year, they’ve got three new itineraries to include on their stellar line-up. Keen to know what they are? Read on!
Travelling with Albatross Tours
Albatross Tours is very compatible with your clients. While a worldwide company now, they started in Australia (and have a Brisbane base) and always design their tours with Australians and New Zealanders in mind.
With their Aussie beginnings, they know what we love (and what we don’t). Like, we’re so not into whistlestop tours where you don’t know where you are when you wake in the morning because you’re whizzing through countries like you’re playing travel bingo. Aussies and Kiwis travel for enjoyment (and food, always food).
Beautiful Slovenia & Croatia’s Istrian Jewels
A good example of Albatross setting the perfect pace is on their brand-new 16-day Beautiful Slovenia and Croatia’s Istrian Jewels small group tour.
Travelling from Vienna to Venice, this route is not one to hurry. This is why guests spend three nights in gorgeous Lake Bled to soak up its majestic views, heritage sites, and cultural wonders. There’s also not one but two impressive nights in Plitvice to ensure time to explore both the Upper and Lower Falls.
In Poreč, a 3-night stay affords plenty of time to explore the Istrian Peninsula. This includes adventures to postcard-perfect Rovinj, Pula’s Roman Amphitheatre, and the fairytale-esque mountain village of Grožnjan.
Staying at a destination for longer is part of the Albatross Tours ethos. Longer stays ensure more time for local sightseeing, less packing and unpacking, more time to relax, and the space to gain a true sense of the feel of the destination.
There’s also a ‘My Time’ element on every Albatross tour. This is included free time on the itinerary for personal exploration, allowing guests space to pursue their passions and interests.
On this new tour, this could mean finding the best ‘juicy fried chicken’ in UNESCO World Heritage-listed Graz, taking a hike in Lake Bled, or discovering Trieste’s best coffee (it’s a city obsessed!).

Leisurely Switzerland
Another of Albatross Tours’ new 2025 departures, your clients can join Leisurely Switzerland – the Glacier Express and Cable Car Adventures. This 15-day tour is another small group gem, which means no more than 28 people but generally an average of 22 guests per tour.
While Albatross Tours already has an amazing 14 tours featuring Switzerland – including some fabulous festive departures – the new Leisurely Switzerland showcases the country’s fabulous trains, boats, and cable cars.
Alongside Swiss must-dos like the mighty Matterhorn, Glacier Express Train, and Mount Titlis Cable Car, there are Hand Selected Experiences included for every guest. Like a private boat cruise to Bellagio, a horse and carriage ride in St Mortiz, and bear sanctuary visit at Arosa Alpine Village.
Cradles of Civilisation
The third announcement to the Albatross Tours 2025 line-up is the 24-day Cradles of Civilisation tour featuring Gallipoli, Cappadocia & those Greek Isles. This adds Greece and Türkiye to their impressive destination line-up.
Starting in Istanbul and concluding in Athens, this epic itinerary tours guests to Gallipoli to remember and honour fallen ANZAC soldiers, takes them on a mesmerising hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia’s spectacular landscape, and has time on Türkiye’s coast with stops in Izmir, Marmaris and Bodrum.
On to Greece for a spot of island-hopping, including stops in Rhodes, Mykonos, and Santorini.
As they experience this brand-new tour, your clients will love the commitment to full-size first-class touring coaches. Who wants to fight for primo window space when travelling to destinations as blummin’ gorgeous as Greece and Türkiye?
Book early & save
With three new tours and early bird savings, Albatross Tours knows how to spoil a traveller.
When you book your clients on any of their 2025 summer European tours by 31 July 2024, they’ll receive a sweet $350 saving per person.
