Back on track: Singapore powers up for F1 party in September

Singapore’s biggest street party returns for the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix from 30 September to 2 October 2022 as the city-state gears up for a full-on weekend of high-octane action and power-packed entertainment.

After a two-year hiatus, Asia’s biggest motorsport and entertainment extravaganza is back on track and it’s the perfect opportunity to make a pit stop in Singapore for an action-fuelled getaway.

Crowds will be revved up by the electric and eclectic entertainment lineup at the Marina Bay Street Circuit site, which includes Australia’s own The Kid LAROI alongside headliners Marshmello, Westlife, Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, TLC and Suede and a host of other local and international acts.

The mainstage acts will join local artists including 8EyedSpud, Adeline Loo of It Takes Balls, HAFI, Koh Dawn, Lee Wei Lieh of Very Small Exhibition and Paper Carpenter, who will display their works at specially curated experiential zones within the Circuit Park plus food and beverage options.

The three-day race weekend will include more than 100 hours of entertainment throughout the Circuit Park, including 92 performances across nine stages, 79 roving acts and an array of art installations and activities.

All tickets to the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2022 will allow fans to enjoy the on-track action as well as the activities and performances in Zone 4 of the Circuit Park.

The first release for the general public three-day grandstand and hospitality packages tickets have already sold out for the eagerly anticipated event.

The 2019 Singapore Grand Prix drew an international crowd of 268,000 spectators, which was the second-highest attendance for the event that has the distinction of being the first F1 night race ever and Asia’s first F1 street circuit.
