Battle of the beaches: Which Aussie stretch of sand is TikTok’s top beach?

With four Aussie beaches making it into TikTok’s most popular shoreside destinations outside of the US, which local stretch of sand are travellers most beachy-keen on?

Few topics stir up pride and heated debate like the world’s best beach. Whether it’s Australia versus California (like the recent ‘overheard’ viral post of an Aussie trashing Venice Beach), the Caribbean or the South Pacific, Thailand or Bali, plenty of people have plenty to say about their fave stretch of sand.

So the luggage storage specialists at Bounce turned to TikTok to settle the score once and for all.

Bondi Beach was the clear winner, racking up 660.3 million TikTok views for Sydney’s famous sandy crescent. Never fear, Northern Beaches residents, Manly Beach also made it onto the list in ninth spot with 21.1 million views.

Queensland had the other two Aussie beaches on the top-10 most-viewed list: Airlie Beach (7) with 39.6 million views and Whitehaven Beach (8) with 36.2 million views.

JBR Beach (6) in Jumeirah, UAE and Playa Paraiso (which translates as ‘Paradise Beach’) (10) in Tulum, Mexico were the other shoreside destinations that made it into the most-viewed beaches on TikTok.
