Icebergs the size of skyscrapers. Remote Inuit communities. Wildlife encounters in one of the world’s last true wildernesses. Greenland is one of the most rewarding destinations on the planet, and with HX Expeditions, travellers experience far more than just the scenery.

For your clients, HX goes beyond the aesthetics for a deeper understanding and appreciation of Greenland, working with Greenlandic communities and guides to surface those immersive experiences that can only happen with local knowledge and keen insights.

HX has spent years on the ground building a program that can’t be replicated overnight. From guaranteed departures and onshore excursions to experiencing the local culture through cuisine and community immersion and responsible tourism initiatives, it’s peace of mind for your clients that goes beyond the booking.

Greenland, the HX way

Greenland will take your client’s breath away with sights such as the Ilulissat Icefjord.

HX promises that travellers won’t just see Greenland, they’ll experience it in-depth. It’s the ideal destination for clients who have been to Antarctica and want to explore more of the polar regions with expert guidance.

HX has launched new experiences for the 2026-27 HX Greenland season, developed in collaboration with Greenlandic community partners and designed to connect travellers more closely to the destination.

There’s also the ‘Culinary Discovery: The Taste of Greenland’ program that highlights the rich and diverse flavours of Greenlandic cuisine as interpreted by renowned local chefs, including Inunnguaq Hegelund, one of the destination’s most influential tastemakers.

A rotating lineup of guest chefs will showcase regional produce and providores through multi-course tasting menus, live cooking demonstrations and cultural storytelling, bringing Arctic flavours to life at the table.

Travellers can also gain a deeper appreciation for Greenland through Kalaallit: Portraits of Greenland, a four-part short-film series sharing the stories of local makers, adventurers andncommunity members whose lives remain closely connected to the land.

Kalaallit is the Greenlandic word for Greenlanders that speaks to a shared identity rooted in kinship, Inuit heritage and an innate link to the land.

HX also shores up its responsible tourism connection to Greenlandic communities through ongoing investment in youth education and support with the Association of Greenlandic Children.

The HX Foundation has spent seven years funding and supporting youth programs, including support for children in difficult circumstances, ensuring positive contributions from expedition experiences for the future.

For clients who value responsible tourism practices, this is a clear hook for HX. It also pairs perfectly with the HX Greenland Promise for both advisors and travellers’ peace of mind.

These are just some of the ways that an HX Greenland expedition stands out from others in the market.
