After releasing 2024 earlybird rail packages for popular train experiences, Journey Beyond has launched its full-season program – now open for bookings across all rail journeys including The Ghan, Indian Pacific and Great Southern.
The season release is supported by a major new campaign – Australia by Train – highlighting the enjoyment of train travel and Australia’s ever-changing landscapes, culture and people.
The Ghan travels between Adelaide and Darwin, traversing some of Australia’s most dramatic outback landscapes; the Indian Pacific crosses the continent between Sydney and Perth, taking in the Nullarbor Plain; and the Great Southern is a summer adventure running down the coast and inland between Brisbane and Adelaide.
Australia by Train showcases the moments within these journeys in new TV ads that bring audiences on board the train experience and stepping into Off Train Experiences, soundtracked by the classic The Church song, Under the Milky Way.
The 2024 program pairs the iconic multi-day train journeys with Outback Spirit touring, new Rail and Sail options, helicopter flights, Opera Australia offerings and more.
The new products include a seven-day Stagelights & Sydney Sights package on the Indian Pacific and a seven-day Scenic Sip & Sail package on the Indian Pacific that takes in the Margaret River wine region.
Take a Top End trip on The Ghan with a Kimberley cruise on PONANT’s Le Laperouse as part of the epic 19-day Outback to Ocean with Kakadu package.
The 11-day Coastal Cruiser includes a rail journey on the Great Southern plus a cruise on the Coral Princess up the Queensland coast, while the 13-day Island Coastal package pairs a cruise in Tasmania with the Indian Pacific rail journey.
