When you’re ready to Bring on Wonderful, there’s only one airline to consider: Virgin Australia! Kiss ‘nice’ goodbye; Virgin Australia is committed to a new era of flying where average just won’t cut it. Queenslanders already know how wonderful VA is, flying daily direct to Denpasar, Nadi, and Queenstown out of Brisbane Airport. Teaser alert: BNE is about to get even more wonderful!
It’s no surprise there is new news connected to Brisbane Airport from Virgin Australia. It’s their home base, after all and after flying from BNE since 2000, VA have a special bond. This is evident, as they made history as the first aircraft to take off on Brisbane Airport’s new runway a couple of years back.
More wonderful for wanderers
With daily departures to Bali, Fiji, and Queenstown, Virgin Australia already understands the importance of giving Queenslanders direct daily access to destinations that fuel the soul, charge the batteries, and inspire wonder.
In March 2023, Queenslanders get a level-up on their Virgin Australia experience: new flights to wonderful places! Yup, next year, flying directly from Brisbane Airport, VA will kick off direct flights to Samoa and Vanuatu, and that is something that all Aussie’s can benefit from.
We don’t know about you, but we think it’s beyond wonderful to have even more beach destinations to access from Brisbane in the swiftest time possible.
BNE: Better Connected
When we say the swiftest time possible, we don’t only mean the fact that Virgin Australia is directly connecting your clients to gorgeous beaches, cultural experiences and adventure thrills.
Every trip out of Brisbane Airport complements every direct flight, thanks to BNE’s fast transfer times between terminals, and its fab domestic connections across Australia (they have the most, in fact).
When Brisbane Airport says “We’re Better Connected”, they mean it! Passengers know they mean it, too. It’s the public that votes in the annual Skytrax Awards, after all, netting BNE their 8th win as Best Australia/Pacific and fifth time winning Best Airport Staff. Pretty impressive, huh?
“My favourite airport”
Karryon caught up with Renee Schneider, Virgin Australia Cabin Crew, before she took to the air on the first flight back to Queenstown last month.
Renee claims Brisbane Airport as her favourite for its ease of access and, she gushed, because “the view of the city coming in is phenomenal.”
Working for Virgin Australia is equally phenomenal, Renee says. “I get to work with some of the most amazing people, and I get to go to amazing places, and the company itself is amazing. It’s just all-around wonderful.”
Wonderful perks with VA
Virgin Australia is not an airline to waste opportunities or time. This is why they spent the past two years coming up with all manner of ways to improve experiences for your clients aboard their aircraft.
“Have a nice flight” is too vanilla for a brand like Virgin Australia, so expect none of that the next time you fly. Instead, prepare for a flight that’s wonderful, inclusive, and welcome to all.
One thing generally not considered wonderful is the dreaded middle seat. Surely, there’s no way, besides doing away with it altogether, to add a spark of joy to lucking out with a B or E on a boarding pass?
But what if getting the middle seat puts your clients into a lottery? That’s exactly what happens on any Virgin Australia flights from now until 23 April next year. Middle-seat pax can win up to $230,000 worth of prizes, including Platinum Velocity Frequent Flyer Status (plus one million points). Plus a Virgin Voyages Caribbean cruise with United Airlines premium economy flights, and so much more.
Finally travellers have a reason to whoop when they see a middle seat allocation!
Wonderfully innovative
That’s not the only way VA is shaking up the Aussie airline industry. They also recently released airfares as low as a café’s avo on toast for two, and announced new partnerships with Qatar Airways and United Airlines (meaning more Velocity Frequent Flyer points).
On top of that, the Virgin Australia Brisbane Airport Lounge now serves Betty’s Burgers (yum), and Boost Juice. The latter is available in-flight, too.
We’re big fans of innovation and celebrate Virgin Australia’s outside-the-box approach to Bringing on Wonderful!
