Today we’re celebrating the art of mixing a drink on ‘World Cocktail Day’ with one of Oprah’s favourite cocktails, the classic Moscow Mule also known as a Vodka buck.

The original mule-style drink was originally created because of an excess of vodka and ginger beer that wasn’t selling well in 1950s America.

It’s so named because of the Russian affiliation to vodka and the ‘kick’ of the ginger beer.

If you’re a fan of ginger been, this cocktail is for you! It’s also super-easy to make, so why not try your bartender skills tonight?  *Hint* it’s really all about the copper mug.
