A Museum of Ice Cream? For the only in America file, yes you heard it here first, we have the ‘scoop’, a pop-up Museum of Ice Cream will open in the Meat Packing District in New York on the 29th July 2016.

This month-long exhibit is the dream of a group of ice cream obsessed designers artists and friends celebrating all things ice cream with lick-able, likeable, shareable ice cream-centric experiences.

The Museum of Ice Cream interactive highlights include a swimmable rainbow ‘sprinkle’ pool, edible balloons, an immersive chocolate room and a collaborative massive ice cream sundae. Guests will swing on an ice cream sandwich made for two, seesaw on an ice cream scooper.

Visitors will indulge in an exclusive, one-of-a-kind ice cream tasting created by food futurist Dr. Irwin Adam, and visual designs from renowned New York artists will provide a modern, whimsical urban ice cream playground.

Located at 100 Gansevoort Street close to the Whitney Museum of Art and the High Line, it will welcome guests six days a week and will provide a fun and delicious escape from the summer heat.

Admission for a Single Scoop is $18 per person and a Double Scoop $30 per couple which includes Scoop of the Week and Future Food Studio custom tastings. For tickets and hours of operation book here.
