Qatar welcomes two new resorts ahead of FIFA World Cup 2022
Along with new and revamped attractions and already-opened hotels, Qatar will open two more resorts before the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 kicks off in November. The first of its kind accommodation in Qatar, The Outpost Al Barari desert resort offers 21 luxury lodges with private pools that integrate close-to-nature experiences, sustainability and luxury hospitality from 1 November, while Rixos Qetaifan Island North Doha resort will surround the island’s main attraction: a state-of-the-art waterpark.

New 5-star Pullman hotel slated for Sydney’s Penriths Panthers precinct in 2023
Accor has inked an agreement with Panthers Group for a new Pullman hotel at the Penrith Panthers precinct in Western Sydney. The upper-upscale 153-room Pullman Sydney Penrith hotel, due to open in Q4 2023, forms part of the transformation of the Penrith Panthers precinct into a new state-of-the-art business and entertainment destination.

Aman’s luxe winter resorts reopen for the season in Europe and the US
Ahead of the Northern Hemisphere winter season, Aman Le Mélézin, Amangani and Rosa Alpina are reopening in the ski resorts of Courchevel 1850 and Dolomites Superski in Europe and Jackson Hole in the US. Aman Le Mélézin in France will reopen on 9 December, Italy’s Rosa Alpina will reopen on 10 December and Amangani in Wyoming will open its doors again on 22 November.

Six Senses Victoria Falls to offer stilted eco lodges for elevated wildlife viewing
The new Six Senses riverside game reserve and wellness resort within Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls National Park, a UNESCO Protected Area, will contain 37 partially concealed, tree-level lodges – some with suspended pools – for a bird’s eye platform to the surrounding nature and wildlife.
