Marked for completion in early 2024, Sydney’s first Collection by TFE Hotels site in the Surry Hills Village dining and shopping precinct development will join the brand’s already impressive property portfolio that includes Brisbane’s The Calile Hotel and The Hotel Britomart in Auckland.
The 102-room boutique hotel will feature a characterful accommodation experience with curved brickwork and stone pathways and include Cloister, a restaurant and bar space, and a rooftop infinity pool with expansive city views.
TFE Hotels CEO Antony Ritch said guests can expect a distinct, design-led hotel with bespoke service and individual attention.
“Surry Hills is home to one of Sydney’s premier restaurant, dining and boutique precincts and this new Collection property will become a destination in its own right,” Mr Ritch said.
The wider 1.2ha, mixed-use Surry Hills Village development will be supported by a new 517sqm public park and up to 12,000sq m of retail and commercial space.
Fink Group, owner-operator of some of Sydney’s leading restaurants such as Quay, Bennelong, Firedoor and Otto, will sit at the centre of the dining destination.
TOGA Group managing director and TFE Hotels chairman Allan Vidor said the Surry Hills Village development brought the best of Surry Hills and Redfern into one stylish destination.
“This will be a curated precinct of sophisticated retail, a new bespoke hotel, stylish residences, a progressive workspace and contemporary event spaces,” he said.
Collection by TFE Hotels currently includes The Calile Hotel, The Hotel Britomart, Hotel Kurrajong Canberra and The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins in Melbourne with more in the development pipeline.
