Hong Kong’s great shopping, culinary treats, culture and temples. They’re just some of the things the group pictured above learned about this week.
Hong Kong Tourism Board teamed up with Cathay Pacific earlier this month to take agents from over 60 retail travel agencies to the Yarra Valley this week for a joint update.
The group didn’t need to leave the country to get a full Hong Kong experience.
Guests enjoyed lunch and wine tasting at the local winery followed by a presentation highlighting the new attractions and developments in the destination.
Among the developments is the recent launch of Hong Kong Tourism Board’s new consumer website.
The website was launched as part of a complete digital makeover that aims to connect with online travellers and make researching Hong Kong a little more person.
The group also learned about Hong Kong Tourism Board’s reinvented brand, which is now titled ‘My Time for… Hong Kong’.
The brand moves away from selling a product to showcasing an emotional side of the destination.
One lucky guest also won the major prize of return flights to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific.
