In what is basically an uber-modern version of the medieval pillory, this Instagram account is publicly-shaming the badly behaved passengers amongst us and it’s become insanely popular.
We’re talking 1 MILLION followers and a ranking of #20 in Rolling Stone Magazine’s ‘100 Best Instagram Accounts’.
(FYI: Kim Kardashian‘s Instagram account is #1 … #facepalm. And Tinder Nightmares is number is #13.)
A form of retributive justice against the stinky feet-ers, space encroachers, and annoying flyers amongst us, both cabin crew and fellow passengers have taken to Instagram to post on the Passenger Shaming account to vent their frustrations.
And oh is it hilarious!

However, on closer inspection of the account, there’s a common theme of feet sticking out where they simply don’t belong, in what is perhaps the strongest case against yoga to date: sometimes flexible feet are annoying!

And then there’s the downright bizarre…
Passenger Shaming was originally started as a Facebook group by Ms Kathleen, a flight attendant for seven years, who wanted to shine the shaming spotlight on those annoying passengers that fate has a way of throwing at you every now and then…
But it’s now grown into something HUGE, with the #passengershaming hashtag getting quite a workout on the popular social media platform.
Indeed, this is one Instagram account you definitely don’t want to end up on!
