The Qantas Aussie Summer Sale has more than 800,000 domestic seats up for grabs for five days only with one-way economy fares from $99 across selected travel dates, including over the popular Christmas holiday period.
The Qantas Aussie Summer Sale spans more than 300 routes and over 60 domestic destinations, including major cities and regional centres, such as Devonport, Merimbula and Hervey Bay.
Crucially for advisors fielding summer holiday enquiries, the discounted travel window covers the peak periods clients ask for most: summer school holidays, Christmas, New Year and Australia Day.
The five-day Qantas Aussie Summer Sale runs 20–24 July 2026 and includes blackout periods and travel on select dates between 1 December 2026 and 28 February 2027.
The cheapest domestic routes on sale

Longer routes round out the list with Perth to Sydney from $299 one-way and Darwin to Melbourne from $319, even as Qantas has recently scaled back other Northern Territory services amid shifting demand.

Melbourne to Sydney one-way fares are from $299, while Brisbane to Perth is under $1,000. Other business fares include Sydney to Hamilton Island from $559 one-way and Perth to Sydney from $999.
Bundling with Qantas Hotels points

The airfare sale coincides with the return of the Qantas Hotels Triple Points Frenzy, offering Qantas Frequent Flyer members nine Qantas Points per $1 spent on stays at more than 500,000 hotels worldwide.
This includes The Playford Hotel Adelaide – McGallery Collection at $549 or 54,216 Qantas Points, saving up to 42 per cent on a stay that also includes daily buffet breakfast, a welcome drink voucher per guest and a guaranteed room upgrade.
The Qantas Hotels Triple Points Frenzy promotion runs 20–26 July 2026, giving clients a short window to pair discounted flights with points-earning stays.
Qantas Domestic CEO Markus Svensson said the Qantas Aussie Summer Sale gives customers “more opportunities to discover the destinations, communities and experiences that make our own backyard special during one of the most popular times for holidaymakers”.
“Customers can combine discounted seats with the Qantas Hotels offer and get the best value out of their trip this summer, whether they’re returning to a favourite holiday spot or visiting somewhere new.”
KARRYON UNPACKS: A domestic sale that covers Christmas, New Year and the summer school holidays is rare and clients will move fast at these prices. With the Triple Points Frenzy promo landing the same week, there is a natural conversation about bundling flights and accommodation before the sale ends.
