Whether it’s to stand in awe of brilliant-blue glaciers, witness incredible wildlife in its natural habitat, or learn about the history of the remote North Pole regions, Quark’s Arctic 2027 brochure is stacked with adventures beyond belief.

Alongside firm favourites like Svalbard Explorer, Canada’s Northwest Passage, and the thrilling Three Arctic Islands: Iceland, Greenland, and Spitsbergen, there are new immersive voyages on the lineup. Check out:

  • Scotland to Spitsbergen: Puffins, Sea Ice & Wildlife: Departing 2 May 2027, board Ultramarine in Aberdeen, for 17 enchanting days to discover the wilds of the Shetland and Orkney Islands, visit impressive Scottish Neolithic historical sites and avian colonies before crossing the Norwegian Sea to the seldom-visited Bear Island; it’s as off-the-beaten-path as you can get, standing isolated between mainland Norway and Svalbard. Once in the High Arctic, Svalbard’s majesty awaits. From AU$20,021 per person twin share (based on Explorer Suite).
  • West Greenland: Discovering Massive Icebergs and Inuit Communities: Running both northbound (17 August 2027) and southbound (25 August 2027), this 11-day voyage is for travellers seeking a journey dedicated exclusively to West Greenland. The reward for that dedication? One of Quark’s most in-depth explorations, including Eternity Fjord – considered Greenland’s most stunning – and the spectacular scenery at Ilulissat, Eqip Sermia, and Uummannaq. From AU$19,745 per person twin share (based on Deluxe Veranda Forward).
  • West Greenland: Exploring the Far North: Departing 2 September 2027 aboard Ocean Explorer, this 16 day voyage travels further north than any other North Pole itinerary. With sights set on 78° north latitude, this is a journey of discovery, You’ll sail to rarely visited places that legendary explorers like Knud Rasmussen and Robert Peary once sailed. From AU$30,005 per person twin share (based on Deluxe Veranda Forward).

It’s not only the Arctic that inspires: the 2027/28 Antarctic season introduces two new impressive itineraries:

  • Falkland Islands & South Georgia: 20-Day Wildlife Adventure: We love having a big trip to look forward to, and this new Quark voyage explores more of the Falkland Islands and South Georgia than ever before! Departing 19 October 2027, take this 20-day journey to uncover the spoils of the Falklands archipelago, including the world’s largest black-browed albatross colony at Steeple Jason, and the incredible biodiversity on New Island. A full six days of experiences across wildlife-rich South Georgia bucks the trend – it’s virtually unheard of – offering even greater insights and access to this rugged, remote island. From AU$41,653 per person twin share (based on Explorer Suite).
  • Antarctic Peninsula: A Rare Exploration of the Weddell Sea: The Weddell Sea is a place where big things happen, like massive Adélie penguin colonies and colossal tabular icebergs (those are flat-topped glories). On Quark’s new 12-day Weddell Sea voyage, departing 18 December 2027 on Ocean Explorer, expect “wow” to be your most common utterance. Alongside Antarctica must-sees, you’ll spend three or four dedicated days in the farthest reaches of the Weddell Sea and Antarctic Sound. From AU$24,321 per person twin share (based on Deluxe Veranda Forward).
