Sunshine State targets families with more for free in new tourism campaign

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and My Queensland’s latest campaign offers free and bonus inclusions for family holidays in the Sunshine State. The 'Festival of Free' promotion includes free flights, tours and accommodation for kids plus special deals for couples and other travellers without littlies.

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and My Queensland’s latest campaign offers free and bonus inclusions for family holidays in the Sunshine State. The ‘Festival of Free’ promotion includes free flights, tours and accommodation for kids plus special deals for couples and other travellers without littlies.

The Festival of Free deals are available until 31 May 2024 and feature family packages with free flights, tours or accommodation for kids and bonus inclusions such as free meals, spa discounts and late checkouts, saving up to $1,400 in bonus value.

The Festival of Free is the latest in a string of recent campaigns to stimulate tourism recovery and keep Queensland top of mind in a competitive global market.

TEQ CEO Patricia O’Callaghan said this campaign is aimed at helping families take a Sunshine State holiday despite economic pressures.
