Not able to make the above dates? No FOMO needed, as there are plenty of other Hong Kong arts and cultural activities to explore.

Our top picks include the West Kowloon Cultural District, an impressive arts and cultural hub. Think performance halls, exhibition centres, restaurants, cafés, and lush grassy areas to hang. For creative souls, a visit here is a must-do.

For Hong Kong’s heritage arts, head to Tai Kwun, in Central’s SoHo district. Step back in across 16 heritage buildings. Alongside stories from the late 19th century, Tai Kwun has visual art displays, lively events, and free concerts. Sounds cool, huh?

Of course, art is more than just a painting on your wall or a sculpture in your garden, buildings are art, too. Discover Hong Kong’s low-rise Tong Lau buildings as you tour the city. Find out where here, and combine it with the city’s long-standing traditions for a day of culture-as-art!
