With demand for expedition cruising continuing to grow, Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has expanded its expedition portfolio for 2025 to 24 cruises across 33 countries.
The 2025 Luxury Expedition Cruise portfolio includes a new expedition to the Galápagos Islands aboard Ecoventura’s luxury yacht, Theory, as well as a new island-hopping adventure to explore the wilds of Iceland, the Faroes, Scotland’s Shetland Islands and the Isle of Skye.
A&K Director of Luxury Expedition Cruising, Laurence Gosset-Lukaszczyk says the new small-ship expeditions, “allow travellers to discover the history, cuisine and enduring traditions that breathe life into these remote destinations”.

Ultimate Galápagos expedition
From April to November 2025 spend seven nights with the archipelago’s iconic wildlife including giant tortoises, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, sea lions and penguins while snorkelling, kayaking, or on Zodiac excursions.
Cruising Iceland, Faroes, Scotland and Ireland
Nature lovers can spend eight nights in August 2025 exploring volcanic landscapes, rugged coastlines and myriad birdlife.
Begin in Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik, before heading to the volcanic Westman Islands, postcard-perfect Faroe Islands, the Shetland Island’s historic port of Lerwick, and the Isle of Skye.

Polar expeditions in Antarctica and the Arctic
Follow the routes of legendary explorers to see the elusive polar bears, whales, albatross and various breeds of penguin.
Expeditions include Antarctica, South Georgia and Falklands in December 2025 to January 2026, and an Arctic Cruise Adventure in July 2025.
Warm water adventures in Africa and Southeast Asia
For those seeking a good dose of sun, sand and surf, recommend the Seychelles and Coastal Tanzania in March, or an Indonesia voyage taking in Komodo, Papua and Great Barrier Reef in October.
