Aman Dubai will become the first Aman property to open in the United Arab Emirates.
The project owner of Aman Dubai, Bright Start, is a well regarded real estate investment company with a curated portfolio comprised of residential developments, commercial venues, and high-end hospitality projects. The hotel will be designed by KHA (Kerry Hill Architects).
Bright Start will collaborate closely with Aman on the development of Aman Dubai. The all-suite hotel and Aman residences will be located on the Jumeirah Beach shoreline, with an expansive private beach. The site will also house an Aman Spa, spanning more than 2,000 square metres, as well as several restaurants and an Aman Club.
“Dubai stands as a global city, leading the charge in dynamic evolution, offering an array of experiences for both visitors and residents alike,” said Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman.
“Responding to the requests from Aman guests for our presence in Dubai has long been part of my growth vision. Securing the optimal site was paramount to ensure the delivery of our unparallelled service and authentic experiences, for which we are world-renowned. I am delighted that we have collaborated with Bright Start who have a profound understanding of this market, to bring to life the essence of Aman in this exceptional location,” said Doronin.
The property will feature 3.6 hectares of verdant gardens and will showcase the brand’s popular minimal and contemporary design aesthetic.
The resort will blend the tranquillity of Aman’s design ethos with Arabian hospitality. Subterranean spaces and courtyards will connect to multiple gardens that descend to the beach and extend to private living spaces.
Aman Dubai is currently in the development phase and further information about the property will be released in the coming months. No indicative date has been shared regarding its opening.
Aman Hotels & Resorts, founded in 1988, now includes 35 hotels, resorts and branded residences in its portfolio. In 2020, Aman introduced a new hotel brand, Janu – meaning ‘soul’ in Sanskrit. Its first hotel, Janu Tokyo, is set to open this month.
