The Star Grand hotel is set to open within The Star Brisbane from April 2024 along with a host of new signature venues and experiences slated for the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct in Brisbane’s CBD.
The Star Brisbane will have a staged opening from April next year, providing a sneak peek at the signature 5-star hotel as part of more than 50 new offerings within the 12ha precinct in The City.
Four future luxury hotels, an array of restaurants and bars, world-class entertainment and luxury retail will be part of The Star Brisbane.
Inside The Star Grand
Brisbane’s newest 5-star hotel will provide 340 luxury rooms across two arc-shaped towers and three pools on the 12,000sqm Leisure Deck with direct access to more than 50 new rooftop restaurants and bars on the Sky Deck.
It will also incorporate celeb chef Luke Nguyen’s reimagined Fat Noodle restaurant (currently at Treasury Brisbane), Cherry cocktail bar (complementing the Sydney and Gold Coast venues) and a new 732sqm Sports Bar.
Luke Nguyen, who has had a decade-long partnership with The Star in Brisbane and Sydney, said he was proud to be a part of the new restaurant offering.
“Brisbane is on the precipice of being the next foodie capital of Australia; the food offerings, the art and culture and tourism is growing and the city is making a name for itself in its own right,” he said.
“There’s an undeniable buzz about town that is only going to be supercharged by the opening next year.”
The Star Brisbane COO Kelvin Dodt said the milestone unveiling was a glimpse of what’s to come.
“We are incredibly excited to be able to share a first look inside The Star Brisbane – the entertainment hub of the Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct which will transform Brisbane as we know it,” Mr Dodt said.
