Golden Eagle Luxury Trains is launching new routes in 2026 to mark its 35th anniversary, including the Silk Road on the new Golden Eagle Silk Road Express.
The 22-day Grand Silk Road voyage will follow in the footsteps of ancient traders covering 6,500 kilometres, taking guests from Beijing to Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The China and Tibet Rail Discovery is a 13-day expedition into the heart of China and the high-altitude wilderness of Tibet. Travelling from Urumqi to the city of Lhasa, guests will visit the ancient bazaars of Kashgar, Turpan and Dunhuang, and the sacred Potala Palace in Lhasa.

While the 12-day ‘Ancient China by Private Train’ travels from Bejing to Urumqui. Here, guests journey to imperial capitals, ancient cities and UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites.
