Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch has opened reservations for 114 rooms, suites and residences inside one of the city’s most recognisable Grade I listed monuments ahead of the 5-star hotel’s 1 March 2027 debut in the heart of ceremonial London.
For the first time in its history, Admiralty Arch will offer overnight stays on The Mall, directly opposite Buckingham Palace in St James’s Park.
The 18,600sqm restoration turns a landmark into an intimate luxury hotel and residences, also marking Waldorf Astoria’s arrival in the UK as the brand also prepares for its debut at Sydney’s Circular Quay in 2027.

Commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria and designed by Sir Aston Webb, Admiralty Arch has stood as a symbolic gateway to the capital for more than a century.
Inside Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch

The hotel will feature 114 rooms, suites and residences with more than half of the accommodation dedicated to expansive residential-style spaces.

Each room is designed to reflect the building’s historic architecture while carrying Waldorf Astoria’s contemporary luxury layout, making it a fit for clients booking a London stay where the address is the experience.

A collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom built for celebrations and cultural gatherings, sits alongside a discreet spa and wellness offering focused on privacy and personalised care.
Two signature restaurants are led by globally recognised chefs Clare Smyth MBE and Daniel Boulud.

Coreus by Clare Smyth celebrates British coastal heritage through sustainably sourced seafood and seasonal produce, paired with an intimate Whiskey & Seaweed bar concept.
Cafe Boulud brings Daniel Boulud’s all-day dining to the rooftop, spanning breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner with panoramic views across St James’s Park and Buckingham Palace.
Why it matters for Australian advisors

The UK remains one of the top destinations for Australian outbound travellers and London anchors most itineraries.
A central St James’s address opposite Buckingham Palace, paired with two marquee culinary names, gives advisors a new top-end option for luxury clients, honeymooners and special-occasion bookings.

KARRYON UNPACKS: Putting overnight guests inside Admiralty Arch for the first time is the kind of story-led address that sells itself to luxury London clients and with Smyth and Boulud on the menus, the dining is a booking hook on its own.
