French restaurateurs and twins, Ugo and Antoine Lecorché of La Môme fame will make their UK debut in January, at The Berkeley in the heart of London.

La Môme London will be the Lecorché brothers’ fourth venture, with two restaurants of the same name in Cannes, and a third in Monte Carlo.

A ‘must-go’ when visiting Cannes, the brand is renowned for its” “stylish yet relaxed atmosphere, serving quintessential Mediterranean dishes with a taste of Provence and Italy”.

La Môme London will feature many of the signature classics you’ll find at its other restaurants, with dishes prepared in front of guests, including deboning a whole wild fish of the day.

The 10-seater bar will serve cocktails with  “a flourish of drama” including served in a glass cloche shrouded in a cloud of dry ice.

Inside, framed Slim Aarons’ photographs of 60s Riviera life will line the walls, an ode to the American photographer, whose works the brothers have long admired.

“As in Cannes, La Môme London will exude the same upbeat, elegant vibe,” says Antoine.

“We are trying to bring to The Berkeley an experience that is about all the senses: not only about the food but about the welcome, the service, the music, the energy, where something interesting is happening every day.”

The Berkeley (owned by Maybourne Hotel Group), General Manager Kostas Sfaltos says, “We are excited to bring La Môme, a true Cannes legend to London, and believe their cosmopolitan energy and joie de vivre will bring something new to the capital.”
