The hotel says it wanted to, “preserve the property’s history while breathing new life into an underground space that risked being forgotten”.

Guests enter to a relaxation room under chandeliers created by internationally renowned light artist, Yahya.

There are two ‘cabins’ offering treatments using natural skincare line ‘Seed to Skin Tuscany’ products, and the indoor pool that has a whirlpool area with a mosaic of Palladian marble.

With a design ethos to preserve the property’s history, while breathing new life into an underground space, nature plays a predominant role with tapestries depicting exotic plans.

Down a set of stairs, vaulted grottos carved into Moltrasio stone create the wet area, where guests will find a sauna and marble steam bath.
