The Hong Kong-based Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will welcome guests to its new Bali property in 2027, opening a secluded luxury resort and branded residences on the island’s southern Bukit Peninsula that joins the existing private holiday home in Uluwatu.

Located 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai (Denpasar) International Airport and tourism hotspots Jimbaran, Uluwatu and Sanur, the new cliffside, terraced Mandarin Oriental Bali will make the most of its surrounds with infinity pools and clifftop dining.

All about Mandarin Oriental Bali

The architecturally designed resort will contain 110 suites and villas with terraces or gardens – most with private pools, blending Balinese culture and Mandarin Oriental’s attention to detail.

There will also be 68 privately owned branded residences. These three- to six-bedroom villas will have access to exclusive facilities, including a clubhouse, private gym and swimming pool.

Dining experiences at Mandarin Oriental Bali will include a clifftop restaurant and bar, a specialty Chinese restaurant, a speakeasy bar and a beach club, offering Indonesian and international cuisines.

In addition, a cliff-edge lawn with panoramic views will create a dramatic backdrop for destination weddings and events and is adjacent to Bukit Pandawa Golf Course.

The all-inclusive Spa at Mandarin Oriental Bali will offer a full treatment range alongside outdoor pools and cabanas, an extensive fitness centre with yoga and a dedicated Kids Club plus more outdoor activities, including tennis and padel courts, watersports, an organic garden and a sustainability lab.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group CEO Laurent Kleitman said: “We are delighted to extend Mandarin Oriental’s renowned levels of hospitality and exceptional experiences to the beautiful island of Bali.”

“With its stunning clifftop location and thoughtful design, underpinned by our award-winning service, this resort and branded Residences will offer guests and homeowners an unparalleled blend of tranquillity and elegance.”
