The Eve Hotel Sydney has appointed Ben Mellor as General Manager ahead of the hotel’s opening in Sydney’s new Wunderlich Lane precinct.
The Eve is owned by TOGA Group and Operated by TFE Hotels.
Mellor brings more than two decades of experience in luxury hospitality and leadership to his new role. He has previously held senior management positions at Sydney’s top five-star hotels, including Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains and, most recently, as General Manager of InterContinental Sydney Double Bay.

The boutique property by TFE Hotels, identified by Karryon Luxury as one of the hottest new hotels to still open before years’ end, will be located at the crossroads of Redfern and Surry Hills.
The 102-key hotel will feature a curated art collection, a landscaped rooftop deck with a 20-metre swimming pool, a rooftop bar and Mexican restaurant, and a lower-level lobby bar operated by The Eve’s F&B Partners, Liquid & Larder.
Emma Soutter, TFE Hotels’ Regional General Manager for NSW/ACT, said the group was confident that, under Mellor’s guidance, The Eve would quickly become a go-to destination for both international travellers and locals, thanks to his extensive knowledge of luxury operations and a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

Mellor is currently in the process of recruiting additional key team members at The Eve hotel Sydney, including an Executive Assistant Manager, Guest Experience Manager, and more.
