Accommodation in Cairns took a large leap forward with the opening of ‘Riley’, a 5-star resort featuring a man-made beach, a swimming lagoon & undisrupted views of the Coral Sea.
Riley is the first of three 5-star Crystalbrook Collection properties to open in the city over the next 14 months and is described as a “long-awaited drawcard” for tourists looking for a “new accommodation experience”.
By the sounds of it, that’s close to what they’ll receive because the 311-room property has a man-made beach with secluded cabanas.
Adding on to that element of sun and relaxation, Riley also has a 1,000sqm swimming lagoon as well as a 12-floor high rooftop bar called ‘Rocco’ where guests can enjoy an evening beverage or taste Mediterranean-inspired dishes.
Guests can treat their taste buds to modern Asian Fusion dishes at the Paper Crane restaurant, cleanse their bodies with raw and simple meals at Greenfields or eat-in with 24-hour in-room dining.
Speaking of the rooms, each guest has access to in-room iPad control centres, hundreds of complimentary new release movies and box sets as well as Staycast by Google Chromecast – the streaming service.
Other facilities include the Luxury Eléme Day Spa, the 24-hour fitness centre and an interactive communal self-booking tour centre.
