QT is fizzing over its latest pop-up in New Zealand’s adventure capital

QT Queenstown is bringing back its ‘Champagne Parlour’ – a pop-up room design only available for two months.

QT Queenstown is bringing back its ‘Champagne Parlour’ – a pop-up room design only available for two months.

The hotel, in the centre of town, is launching the winter collaboration with artist Evie Kemp in partnership with G.H. Mumm.

The ‘Champagne Parlour’ is a single guestroom, taking up temporary residence from 24 June until 17 August 2024.

QT General Manager, Jeremy Black says “After the parlour sold out last year, we couldn’t wait to bring it back to life, and this time with a Queenstown winter twist”.

“We’re thrilled to partner with G.H. Mumm to once again bring to life this fun and unforgettable experience for guests.

“Unsurprisingly, Evie has done an outstanding job curating the space to ensure guests get the ultimate experience with this unmissable escape.”

Kemp says, “I’ve had a riot of a time collaborating on this next iteration of the Champagne Parlour and I can’t wait for guests to see it!”.

Guests can expect a framed retro skier wall art hung atop pink striped walls, a giant plush shag rug, a blue tartan throw, peach bubble side tables, a grey bubble sofa, and fluffy sheepskins.

Kemp has also created bespoke artwork for everything from the entry door decal to the bathroom mirror, coasters and menus in Reds Bar, while the bathroom has Sage & Claire amenities and plush peach robes.

Guests will be greeted with a bottle of G.H. Mumm Grand Cordon Rosé on arrival, themed welcome and bath treats, champagne breakfast in bed for two, and a Mumm champagne mini-bar.
