The highly anticipated ROKI Collection Queenstown is set to open its doors

ROKI Collection is set to open its doors on the lakefront in Queenstown, promising "the pinnacle of ultra-luxury hospitality" in New Zealand.

ROKI Collection is set to open its doors on the lakefront in Queenstown, promising “the pinnacle of ultra-luxury hospitality” in New Zealand.

Each suite at ROKI (a Te Reo Mãori word for tranquil) has panoramic views across Lake Wakaitpu and The Remarkables mountain range, fireplaces, private bathtubs, and walk-in wardrobes.

The NZ$2,000 – 32,000 nightly rate suites range from a one-bedroom suite to the Grand ROKI Suite, where you’ll have an entire floor of the resort with seven bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, bathtub, fireplace and balcony.

The rooftop balcony has a private sauna and spa while you can savour the finest New Zealand cuisine prepared by your in-suite chef, and travel in style throughout Queenstown with a chauffeur and exclusive access to the ROKI Collection house car.

Renowned designer Virginia Fisher (also behind Huka Lodge among other luxury lodges across New Zealand) has crafted spaces where “every detail offers an immersive sense of calm, and for guests to reconnect with their senses and breathe”.

Expect light, contemporary spaces making the most of the vast lake and mountain views.

Time to dine

There are three eateries. The Dining Room, a fine dining venue by Executive Chef Paul Froggatt (NZ Luxury Lodge chef of the year 2024), pays homage to his love of travel through the UK, France and Asia. Here guests can enjoy locally farmed lamb and wild-caught venison with “tableside culinary theatrics”.

The Terrace is an intimate dining experience with breathtaking views of Queenstown. Here Froggatt has created a European-influenced experience, paying homage to his love of fishing, with dishes such as king crab and New Zealand scampi.

While at the Library Bar, there are world-class cocktails tailored by the mixologist; walk through the 10,000-bottle wine cellar with the onsite sommelier, or simply head up in the afternoon for high tea.

Wellness and adventure

Inspired by Roman baths, the spa has a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas and private treatment rooms.

And given you’re in New Zealand’s adventure capital, there is no shortage of activities for the active; ski The Remarkables, go on a private heli-skiing adventure, a scenic guided hike or fly-fishing.

For something more sedate, the property organises private tours of the best Central Otago wineries, a heli-tour over the Southern Alps, or pop champagne during an intimate picnic on the peak of the Remarkables.

The property opens its doors in mid-2025 with bookings open now.
