Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), has signed more than 600 member hotels, with 80 new additions – a record high for the portfolio of ultra-luxury properties.
Added to the collection in 2025 will be seven new openings, including two in Italy and one in Australia, and an ultra-luxury catamaran in the Galapagos Islands.
The Plein Hotel, a 13-room property in Milan will join the collection when it opens its doors in January. It’s pièce de résistance, the multiple restaurants, bars and a nightclub for “must-attend parties”.

Rome’s The Goethe Hotel which pays homage to writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and his travels in Italy, joins the collection in February – a stone’s throw from the Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, and Villa Borghese.
For lovers of Scandinavian life, Park Lane Copenhagen opens in January overlooking the gardens of Øregård Park.
Designed to reflect the chic, white style you’d expect in Scandinavia, it’s minutes from the sea in Copenhagen’s northern quarter.

While in April, SLH will welcome the Hermes Galapagos Mega Catamaran.
The first ultra-luxury cruise in the region, guests can explore the Galapagos Islands in 12 opulent suites, each featuring private balconies and jacuzzis.
There are also cooking and cocktail demonstrations to learn about the Ecuadorian culture.

Golfers will love Barrington’s Hotel & Residences in Almancil, Portugal, in Vale do Lobo, close to Almancil and Algarve.
Laguna Coast Resort in Naxos, Greece also becomes a member of SLH’s sustainable Considerate Collection when it joins.
The luxury eco-retreat overlooks the Laguna area, surrounded by ancient landmarks and the Aegean Sea.

While Levantine Hill Hotel in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, on the wine estate of the same name, opens in time for guests sip local vintages by the fire in the Australian winter.
