Imagine a villa straight from the scene of a James Bond film, and then double it. The result? The luxurious, one-of-a-kind underwater Muraka suite in the heart of the Maldives…

For those who live to submerge themselves (ha) in all things beautiful, unique and exotic, the hotel room of your dreams has finally arrived.

The stunning undersea Muraka suite is located in the Indian Ocean at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, and is being hailed as the first of its kind as the only aquatic oasis to feature rooms which are completely underwater, Daily Mail reported.

This private tropical paradise, which legitimately looks like an extract from our wildest dreams, will set you back a cool $50,000 a night. So, for the super rich, this will be one of the most sought-after hotel rooms in the world. Despite the hefty price tag, it’s not hard to see why.

This gloriously spacious suite, which has rooms both above and below the waves, can accommodate up to nine people. The innovative lower level, which sits five meters below the ocean’s surface, is surrounded by swathes of glass for panoramic views of the colourful reefs and exotic marine life.

This is because the villa has been built using specialised aquarium technology, designed to give the clearest possible views of the ocean floor – perfect for snooping on your aquatic neighbours.

Oh, and did we mention the 24-hour staff available at your beck and call?

This might be a room better suited to our dreams. Guess we should stick to snorkelling…
